Chandratal, also known as the Moon Lake, is one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes in the Indian Himalayas. Located in the Spiti region, the lake changes colours throughout the day and offers a peaceful camping experience in a remote Himalayan landscape.
Chandratal is accessible by road from Manali via the Atal Tunnel and Chatru. A short walk of about 1–2 km leads to the lake.
