With 25+ years of experience in trekking, expeditions and high-altitude guiding, Pratham Singh Panwar has led numerous groups across Uttarkashi, the Gangotri Valley, the Sankri region and remote glacier routes of the Indian Himalayas.

He is known for his calm decision-making, strong terrain knowledge, acclimatization-focused leadership and safety-first approach. His guiding philosophy reflects discipline, simplicity and deep respect for the mountains and local culture.

A high-altitude expedition specialist, Avtar has led and supported challenging Himalayan expeditions across Uttarakhand, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Nepal. He is known for his calm leadership, strong decision-making and focus on safe acclimatization in extreme altitude environments. His experience includes technical routes such as Auden’s Col, Kalindi Khal, Pin Parvati Pass, Kang Yatse, Mentok Kangri and expeditions in the Annapurna region.

Sandeep Rana

Sandeep Rana — Senior Trek Leader

With professional trekking experience, Sandeep has led multiple Himalayan treks across Dodital, Dayara Bugyal, hamptapass, ladakh and Gangotri region trails. He is appreciated for his disciplined trekking style, trek-day planning, and steady group support during challenging sections.

Abhay Rana

Abhay is a certified trek leader known for his confident guiding, route awareness and strong group handling. He focuses on safety briefings, hydration reminders and steady pacing — helping trekkers complete each day comfortably while enjoying the mountain experience.

Ashish Panwar

Ashish Panwar — Tour & Operations Coordinator

Ashish manages tour planning and ground operations for AltitudeKind. He assists trekkers with trip coordination, travel planning and logistics to ensure smooth journeys from arrival to completion. His role focuses on communication, local arrangements and practical support for trekking and expedition programs across Uttarakhand and other Himalayan regions.

Mohan Rana

Mohan Rana — Certified Trek Support Guide

Mohan is a certified trek support guide with excellent skills in campsite setup, food coordination and trek logistics. He ensures smooth operations behind the scenes and is especially helpful in keeping the group comfortable, warm and organised during multi-day Himalayan treks.

Gautam Rana

Gautam Rana — Trek Leader & Technical Guide

Gautam is a key member and one of the core leaders of the AltitudeKind team. He specializes in rope work, knot systems and technical safety management on high-altitude terrain. With strong mountain judgement, calm leadership and deep local experience, he plays a major role in route safety, team coordination and ensuring trekkers move confidently and securely in challenging Himalayan conditions.

Vikash Rana

Vikash Rana — Trek Leader

Vikash is an experienced Himalayan trek leader from the Uttarkashi region, known for his strong mountain awareness and supportive leadership style. He assists in route planning, campsite management and safety monitoring, ensuring trekkers feel confident, comfortable and well taken care of throughout the journey.

Vivek — Coordination & Management

Vivek supports trek coordination, communication, planning logistics and team management. He assists in route scheduling, document handling and group preparation, ensuring treks are organised smoothly from inquiry to field execution.
